During my final semester of college I had the opportunity to choreograph a local high school’s production of Newsies Jr! Meeting these kids at the beginning of their dance journey, many of them had never tried on dance shoes or done a jazz square. Taking them back to basics, I worked on growing not only their knowledge of dance but their confidence in it! We also got to learn some tap for King of New York! This project brought me so much joy and I would love to choreograph more beginner dancers in the future!
